Singing and Voice Lessons
Need help refining your vocal instrument? We have classically trained vocal instructors ready to teach you everything there is to know about how to master the art of singing! Mastering the voice includes understanding solfège (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol), reading music for the voice, studying vocal jumps in pitch (also known as intervals), and developing the mechanics of breath control. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate/advanced student with years of choir under your belt, we’re here to help you refine those skills.
Classical Approach
We use a combination of curriculums including “Music For Sight-Singing” by Robert Ottman and Alfred’s curriculum on singing to help develop a “classical” approach which includes using solfège and reading standard notation music on the treble and bass clef. This approach, regardless of your overall goals as a singer, is by far the most helpful in developing your voice as an instrument!
