For children ages 4-11 we kick start our musical journey with a strong foundation in learning how to read music in standard notation for the treble clef, something that is a critical weak point in the guitar community today! We use a variety of curriculums that cater to the student’s musical interests including Hal Leonard’s Acoustic Guitar Method, Mel Bay, Christopher Parkening Classical Guitar Method for classical players, and “The Guitarist Way” for children that are starting at an early age.

For teens and adult students we take on a “Montessori” approach to teaching. We guide our student’s musical journey by learning songs that they personally love and want to learn while weaving music theory into their education.
